Microsoft Push Email
Pushing emails further
To enhance your access to your email when you're out of the office, Microsoft has launched a new push email service, allowing you to work with mobile versions of Microsoft software that you already use on your desktop/laptop. The XDA Exec, XDA Mini S and Mobile 5.0 devices all support the benefits of Microsoft Direct Push email.

Benefits of using Microsoft Push
- Get real time access to email, outlook folders, calendar, contacts and tasks
- Use mobile versions of familiar Microsoft packages such as Excel, word and PowerPoint
- Email is pushed - no need to dial up or request to receive
- Browse the internet in full colour on the move
- Data can be kept secure and can be wiped over the air if the device is lost or stolen
- No loss of data if the battery runs down
- Because no BES or equivalent is required, you just pay just for the data use.
How do you get it:
- You must be running Microsoft Exchange server 2003, service pack 2. SP2 is available as a free download from the Microsoft website
- You must use a Windows Mobile 5.0 device such as the XDA Exec, XDA Mini S or XDA IQ
- You must have a data enabled tariff
